Description

The Palko Pearl is a 57in three-quarter split cue on a quality ash shaft, with a hand-spliced rosewood butt carrying four splices over white veneers. The pale veneer lines against dark rosewood are what make the splice points read clearly down the butt.

Veneers do structural work as well as visual: each layer adds a glue line across the join, and those layers are what stop a splice opening as the timbers move with humidity over the years. The three-quarter joint keeps the shaft unbroken under the bridge hand, a brass ferrule carries the leather tip, and a 6in extension is supplied for stretched shots.
