Description

The Powerglide Diplomat in its centre-jointed form is a 57in two-piece cue with an enhanced-grain ash shaft and a four-point rosewood butt hand spliced with rosewood and maple. The pale maple against the darker rosewood is what makes the four splice points read clearly down the butt.

The joint pairs Bakelite with brass — the brass provides the machined thread and alignment, while the Bakelite section damps some of the vibration a bare metal joint would send back into the hand on a firm strike. A brass ferrule carries the 9.5mm tip, and the cue comes in 18oz and 19oz. The heavier option carries more momentum through the cue ball for long-table play; the lighter is easier to control at speed.
